Manish Saini

Manish is a filmmaker who works in Gujarati language films. He is known for his work as a director in the 2017 film Dhh for which he received a National Film Award at the 65th National Film Awards.

Nainisha Dedhia

Nainisha has directed award winning short films, Pirana and Dhummas. Dhummas was also qualified for the Academy Awards. She is also the recipient of accolades at the prestigious VGIK film festival (Russia) twice in a row.

Shivani Thussu

Shivani has been a creative supervisor for the first season of the Indian version of 24. She joined Colors in 2011 as a senior supervising producer, before becoming an associate creative director in 2012 and then a creative director for Viacom18 in 2014.

Mrinalini Khanna

Mrinalini is a Writer-Producer who produced for NDTV, written for Miditech. Worked as Vice President for Endemol Shine India. Now a Content Head for Lionsgate India Originals. She is known for Tooth Pari: When Love Bites (2023), The Test Case (2018) and Trial by Fire (2023).

Dinaz Kalwachwala

Dinaz has communication and media experience in Film/Video Direction and Production, Script Writing, Media Consultation, Production design, Academics and Graphic print design. She received the prestigious National Film Award for her documentary “CHARAN-ATVA, The Essence of being a Nomad”, as the best Ethnographic film of the year in 2021. She was also awarded two state awards for Best Documentary films in 1986 and 1988 among many other awards in her long career.

Nina Sabnani

Nina is Chair, Immersive Learning, at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art Design and Technology, Bangalore. She is Adjunct Professor, IIT Bombay as well as a Distinguished Professor, School of Design, UPES, Dehradun. She is an artist and storyteller who uses film, illustration and writing to inform and enlighten her audience

Parthiv Shah

Parthiv is a photographer, filmmaker and a graphic designer. He has made several documentary films, curated exhibitions and has several photo-books to his credit. An alumnus of the NID, India, he was invited as visiting scholar at the SOAS, London University and at the University of California,Davis.

Archana Chandrasekar

As a designer and a storyteller, she has extensive experience of craft within the development sector. Her work has catered to the grassroots voice of tribal communities, children, and women. She is a graduate of the NID Ahmedabad, India - 2017 in Visual Communication, with specialization in Film & Video Communication.

Dr. Shilpa Das

Dr Shilpa Das is the Principal Faculty of Interdisciplinary Design Studies. She designed and has been heading NID’s PhD Programme since 2017 and Science and Liberal Arts Studies at NID since 2004. An alumna of JNU New Delhi (MA), Gujarat University (MPhil), and TISS Mumbai (PhD), she has 30 years of work experience in the education, publishing, and voluntary sectors.
